The Mac app
Notes and drafts are stored as Markdown files locally in the MindNotes app container. The app does not send network requests, include an analytics SDK, require an account, or sync to iCloud. It does not add its own encryption. Your Mac's security and backups remain important.
Website and feedback
This website does not add advertising cookies or analytics scripts. The hosting and download providers may process normal request information to operate their services. GitHub discussions and issues are public and governed by GitHub's privacy policy. A linked Google feedback form, when available, sends responses to the maker through Google Forms. Do not submit passwords, private notes or other sensitive information.
